The College Tour Extravanganza has officially come to a close. Our journey to Northwestern yesterday was the final chapter of one hell of a journey.

Let me tell you that no matter how slim my chances are of getting in (and chances are way beyond slim), almost every inch of my being wants me to be there. Let me tell you that both Ana Gasteyer and Zach Braff went there, and Zach started writing the script for Garden State in the dorm I visited. Even if that's a legend, I don't care. Our tour guide was a doll, and I think he gave one of our best tours.

I'm not going to say much else about the visit, because I don't want to get my hopes up and be let down terribly when I get my rejection letter in April, but I will say that I look pretty swell in purple and gold.

No college visit is complete without a shopping excursion. The destination: Michigan Avenue. The purchases:

- Chanel lip gloss in "Blizzard"

- Citizens of Humanity jeans

- Kiehl's Creme with Silk Groom

- Corduroys/long sleeve t-shirts from J. Crew

See, not too much damage done.

Mom and I were totally looking forward to eating at Cafe Luciano, this awesome Italian place on Rush, but we got there and it was closed! So, we got awesome salads at a French place nearby, and had orgasmically wonderful warm brownie sundaes from Ghiradelli for dessert.

School starts soon now, and I'm really excited to go through senior year, and get it over with!
